The Discovery: Comet Drop (1)
As we added the final piece to our telescope, which we spent hours assembling, I realized that there actually is one bad thing about this place, NOTHING COMES WITH INSTRUCTIONS… I assume that’s a luxury of the earth, but limitations aside, the other moon trainers and I were resourceful enough to put this thing together!
As I approached the telescope to enjoy the fruits of our labor, the team took a big sigh and relaxed on the moon rocks, sipping moonberry juice. If we didn’t earn this moment of peace from going up the North Mountains, we certainly earned it now. Anyway, in the tube I saw space, so much space! Black, yellow, shooting stars, magnificent colors! There was nothing more beautiful than that! I then remembered when I thought the waterfalls on earth were a sight to see. Just as my mind wandered to the past and the muddied falling water, I was distracted by… several comets flying through the sky!
I alerted the others and quickly used my background in Orbital Dynamics to calculate their velocity and orbit. Turns out The Comets were headed directly towards the moon and would make first contact THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH! I moaned to myself, “Why GIN, why does this have to be your skill!?” Talk about being the bad news bearer…
Panic struck! Chaos among the Cryptonauts! Half were certain we’d all be toast by the first blow, others doubted there were comets at all. This created major division among the usually-unified civilization we are. Luckily, REV used her charisma and enthusiasm to win over the masses, which offered a bit of a distraction, but combined with PXL’s courage, this brought about an air of positivity and hope for those on the moon. Though, I will say, nothing had a greater effect than JAX’s indifference. I mean, indifference is the wrong word, perhaps unphasededness. This guy just knew it was all going to work out, so he simply didn’t see the purpose in making a fuss. Many took this as a sign all would be fine, particularly when he expressed: “Maybe it appears as though this will suck, but maybe, in actuality, it will be the best thing to ever happen to us. What if it helps with our colonization?…you never know.”

So, I am speaking to you in hindsight of course…and boy, was JAX ever right. We are now aware that these comets carry Special Rare NFTs that give the owners/holders a significant advantage.
These will be “Moon Duo” NFTs and their points will be referred to as “Moon Duo Points”.
These NFTs have the most number of personality traits and highest point totals on the moon. Moon Duo Points can be used as both Moon Points and Cryptonaut Points. This means that they are already fully activated Moon Points and can also be used to earn the respect of other Moon Creatures/Moon Babies at the same time.
Auctions
These special rare assets will be made available in the Auctions section of the Marketplace, via a 24 hour auction. Each of the 120 assets will have a Reserve Price of 1 NEO, with each bid being 1+ NEO.
* Each time that you are outbid on an NFT your NEO will be returned back to your wallet at TTM’s expense. This is to ensure community members do not have their funds locked up longer than necessary.
* When a bid is placed within the final 10 minutes of an auction the timer will return to 10 minutes remaining.
